Bingel

Bingel

Bingel is a website for grades 1-6. This website is based on a game world where students get reward for their assignments. Below I describe more in depth how Bingel works.

Teacher at Bingel: Being a teacher and using Bingel, I personally think is no problem. Bingel is a simple tool to help you as a teacher of finished materials, compiles students' results and shows how the students have done in detail for each task and what time of day the students did the information. As a teacher, you can give the kids feedback in the form of a symbol, pingping and comment. It greatly appreciates the students!

Student at Bingel:
Each student has their own login that they use when logging in to Bingel. There students can see their assignments and visit their class island. Once the students have done their assignments, they are displayed in three different colors green, yellow and red. These colors describe how it has happened to the students with the task. Green means that it was easy for the student, red that it was very difficult and yellow that the student managed the assignment on his second chance. An assignment contains about ten tasks. These data may look different. Bingel is perceived as a game for the students. Each student has his own avatar (old man) that they can completely personalize. With the help of pingping (points) students can buy clothes, different hairstyles, faces, etc., for example. Students get reward and experience this work tool as a gaming world, the students love Bingel!

Good to know:
All teachers who use this website have their own login. Where they can give students different assignments in the subjects mathematics, Swedish and English. Bingel is a website designed for children. In each course the students have their own island where students can do extra assignments. Once the students have done their assignments as they receive from their teacher or mission on the island. Then the students get reward (pingping). They can use their pingping to, for example, buy different clothes for their own avatar. The avatar follows the student during the game and it greatly appreciates the students.

My colleagues, me and other teachers I talked to (who use Bingel) are very pleased with this tool.
